Dylan Goodman, Thank You For Coming Out (While Staying In)

In this week’s episode of the Gay City News podcast “Thank You For Coming Out,” creator and host Dubbs Weinblatt (they/ them) welcomes Dylan Goodman (he/him).

Dylan is a quintessential Taurus. He is a performance artist and nonprofit fundraiser for Keshet. Growing up in North Carolina, Dylan got his start in activism by pioneering LGBTQ resources at Davidson College, his alma mater. In 2015, he dipped his toes into nonprofit work as a coordinator for GLAAD’s #SpiritDay campaign; and in 2016, he received a BA in Gender and Sexuality Studies with High Honors and a Theatre Minor. In his free time, Dylan is an established actor, writer and connoisseur of coffee shops.

As queer people, we are constantly coming out, and each coming out story is unique in its blend of humor, heartache, worry, and wonder. “Thank You For Coming Out,” inspired by Dubbs’ beloved live comedy show of the same name, pairs them as host with lesbian, gay, trans, bi, non-binary, and more members of the queer community to discuss their coming out stories.
