Cyclones manager Tom Gamboa talks Tebow today on Brooklyn Paper Radio!

Today on Brooklyn Paper Radio, outgoing Cylcones manager Tom Gamboa— one of the least successful but most beloved skippers in the history of the team — joins Gersh and Vince to talk about his 40 years in the game, how much of a long shot it will be for Tim Tebow to make the Mets, and how much he’ll miss Brooklyn after spending three years here.

But don’t think he’s going to get off easy, as Kuntzman promises to ask the tough questions about this year’s non-championship season.

“Look, I love Gamby as much as any red-blooded Cyclone fan, but I’m angry,” Kuntzman said. “So I plan on grilling him like a line-caught salmon.”

Let the fireworks ensue.

Also joining the Daily News columnist and Brooklyn Paper editor will be Politico reporter Dana Rubinstein — who rose to fame under the tutelage of DiMiceli and Kuntzman — who’ll talk about plans to bring the 1 train, which runs in a neighboring borough, to Red Hook.

And of course, we all can’t wait for the popular “Morning Papers” segment, when the boys surprise a Brooklyn Paper reporter — usually Lauren Gill — and question everything she’s ever written.

Gilly, here “spinning,” may be on the show. We're not sure yet.
